There are several pics with individuals-named- in them- I was thinking that their families might like them. Is there any way to find relatives currently?
Thank you for the info- it is fascinating. Somewhere I have a short book on Tarawa GD inscribed to me- there are lots of photos in it , I will look to see if there are amtracs=although you all may have sen the book "Betio"calling?

there are quite a few more and many sketches prepping for later drawings - plus there are many fotos marked USMC official photo on back -one very nice one of Don Senick a movie-tone cameraman- not sure what to do with those. Seems they are likely USMC property still. But it all goes to Quantico soon to the museum''Best to thanks for all you service
